I think Erased is a perfect sequel. Everything I loved about Altered is present in full-force in this novel, with a few bits of extra awesomeness thrown in for good measure! I have always loved how mature and focussed the protagonist, Anna, is. She didn't get caught up her relationship drama (even though she legitimately had a reason to) because hey, they were on the run and their lives were constantly in danger. I think she's amazing.
