A list of books to look out for in September 2015!
Half the War concludes the journey we embarked on with Yarvi in Half a King, bringing his tale to its stunning conclusion and reminding us why we love to read Abercrombie’s stories so much. This novel encapsulates the best of Joe’s writing and world-building, and has left me awed and wanting more.
The Last Place is the fast-paced, intense, and thrilling conclusion to a spellbinding trilogy. Michael Adams has achieved what few authors can – a thoughtful and enthralling exploration of humanity and the human psyche in the face of an apocalyptic disaster.
A list of books to look out for in August 2015!
Fearless, the last instalment in the Avena series, concludes Ebony and Nathaneal’s story admirably, and I enjoyed every moment of it immensely. I’ve loved this series since I read Hidden, and am sad to let these characters and their world go.
Resonance is a smorgasbord of delights, offering gothic fantasy, historical fiction, and horror in one 450 page novel that will readers spellbound. It certainly gripped me – I read it one sitting on a Sunday afternoon.
Today I’m kicking off the Australian and UK blog tour for the final book in Marianne Curley’s awesome The Avena series, Fearless.
What a glorious way to end off one of the best angel-themed paranormal series I’ve ever read! Burn is everything I expected from the final instalment of The Rephaim, a brilliantly plotted novel where action, romance, and intrigue come together to create magic.
Magonia is one of the most beautiful books I’ve had the pleasure of reading in a long time. The prose, the characters, the world-building, everything about it is simply gorgeous.
I thought I’d share a few book covers I’ve stumbled across recently! Since I don’t do Stocktake Saturday any more, I need another outlet to share the pretties!
