Firefight is a wonderful sequel to the heart-stopping Steelheart, delivering all the action, adventure, and fun that readers will expect. It’s an explosive adventure that captured my imagination, and has left me sad that I have to wait so long for the next instalment, Calamity.

Girl Online is a light and fluffy story about a teen girl with an anonymous online blog. I was attracted to it because I ALSO HAVE A BLOG, and I thought there’d be all these amazing moments of connection with Penny. However, Girl Online has a very slow and shaky beginning, and although it does improve eventually, it’s not really the kind of book that I enjoy.

The Fell Sword is a great sequel to Cameron’s fantasy début The Red Knight, expanding the world and delving deeper into its history, introducing us to new characters and giving us the tools to understand our favourites better, farewelling a few characters, and most importantly, giving a glimpse into the grand scale of the five book Traitor Son cycle.

Catalyst is the final instalment of the amazing science fiction series that began with Insignia. Tom Raines faces new challenges in this book and faces them with his usual combination of bravery and brashness.
