Welcome to Stocktake Saturday! This feature is where I share some bookish news with you and then show you all the bookish goodies I got over the week.
The cover reveals from the last week – (links to Goodreads pages)
- The Transfer (Prequel #1) by Veronica Roth – AU cover
- The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith – I love her books 😀
- The Broken Eye (Lightbringer #3) by Brent Weeks – I’m not sure I can handle how awesome this is!
- The Cormorant (Miriam Black #3) by Chuck Wendig

In Bookish News, the Vampire Academy movie trailer has been released! I really like it, but don’t remember book 1 being as … flippant. I think this is a good excuse to re-read the series 😀 Watch it here and let me know what you think in the comments.
Also released this week was the Vicious book trailer – watch it on my Tumblr – I love it! I can’t wait for this book, I want to read everything Schwab has written after I loved The Archived so much.
This week I’ve been Waiting on … Reunion by Jennifer Fallon. I also have a new giveaway up for Aussie readers: BZRK by Michael Grant – enter here!

My book hauls, beginning as usual with the physical copies, thanks to Hachette Children’s Books AU, Harlequin AU and Random House AU (links to Goodreads):
- Antigoddess (Goddess War, #1) by Kendare Blake
- Consume (The Clann #3) by Melissa Darnell
- The Screaming Staircase (Lockwood & Co. #1) by Jonathan Stroud

And e-galleys from Netgalley and Edelweiss:
- Waterfell (The Aquarathi #1) by Amalie Howard
- Tainted (Broken #2) by A.E. Rought
- All Is Fair (The Split Worlds, #3) by Emma Newman
- Killer of Enemies by Joseph Bruchac

Last time I was three books ahead in my Read Three, Buy One scheme, and I reviewed the following books this week:
- The Archived by Victoria Schwab
- Transcendence by C.J. Omololu
- Slammed by Colleen Hoover
- Jaran by Kate Elliott
Which leaves me seven books ahead, with two book purchase unlocked 🙂 But I’m planning a trip to the bookstore this weekend (double Dymocks points!) and I have a pre-order or two coming in September.
I hope you have some goodies to share as well, leave your links below and I’ll be sure to visit 🙂
Happy Reading!

You got some great books 🙂 I like that “read three, buy one” rule, but with me it’s more like “buy 5, read 1”. I’m holding back with buying books now, I have plenty of them to read already. Happy reading!

Wow, you have a really awesome week and lots of awesome titles especially Antigoddess. It is my most anticipated book this year.
Great Haul!

Nice haul, I’ve only heard of one of them – hope they’re all good reads and I hope you enjoyed your weekend book shopping!
